Tycoon Usmanov to sell TV assets to former MegaFon CEO Tavrin

MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Russian tycoon Alisher Usmanov will sell his assets in the television business – a stake in UTV Holding that controls local television channels YU, Muz-TV and Disney – to Ivan Tavrin, a former CEO of mobile operator MegaFon, a representative of Usmanov’s company USM Holdings, told PRIME on Wednesday.

“Usmanov is leaving the television business,” the representative said.
